A Decorative German cane with a bone handle on a rosewood shaft with plain bronze collar and ferrule. The 3 3/4 in. high and 3 3/4 in. wide , L shaped handle is fasioned in two pieces, of an elegant oval cut and decorated at the from with a snake among reliefed knobs with round and dark horn inlay. The cane is from the period around 1870.   Overall length 36 1/2 in.
