#43005 Egyptin Sword Cane An Egyption sword cane curio. The brass handle is 8 ½" long with a ball top that measures 1 1/3" in diameter. It has a flat black enamel background with bright brass Egyption motifs and language characters interspersed. The balde withdraws from the dark bamboo shaft with a straight pull. It is squared and tapered, and it measures 24 3/4" long. The piece terminates with a 1" replaced brass ferrule. The overall length is 35 1/8" and the condition is very good with a minr dent in the ball top. It is ca 1920, and is a nice example from the Egyption revival. $795.00 |
